To me, December is the season of Christmas and there’s always something very special about it. It’s the season of giving, of sharing, of spreading joys, of togetherness and above all it’s the season of love – love in action.
The birth of Christ is the reason for Christmas and it’s a call to live and celebrate every moment with thanksgiving. It’s a call to step out of one’s comfort zone and take a leap of faith into the unknown.
Too often, we are so caught up with our daily routine of life – Work! Work! Work! It’s either efficiency, maximizing production, management, targets and small terms like these which occupy major portion of our time and life. I don’t mean to say that these are not important – these are really important during the working hours so that we give the best to the company which invests in us.
But apart from this also there’s a life that we all lead and we never think of living our passions and dreams or nurturing them. Make what inspires you! Do what inspires you – is all out of the window. We forget about celebrating the world through the talents and gifts that we each possess. We each cut ourselves out believing that we are work in progress which we are but there’s much more than meets the eye.
There are times we feel that living the dream is not for us, success is not for us and then we decide to settle for something mediocre. Then there comes a thought of achieving so much greatness that we forget the good that is right in front of us.
At GlobalVox, we have the possibility of seizing the opportunity and the constant support to step out of the comfort zone and take that giant leap. We, here are in the business of being personal, wherein we care more about people, about relationships and about making every effort to look beneath the surface. I believe our company doesn’t just hand over the reins if it didn’t trust us. We have what we have because we are capable of doing it and not because we are compelled to do it or something happened by chance.
The season of Christmas is a time to reassess before the cycle starts again. Let’s remember, the goal is the same but there might be several approaches to it – change can be uncomfortable but all we need to do is embrace it even if it kicks up a little dust.
Let me conclude with a simple quote – ‘Someone’s sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago’
We are the heart of GlobalVox. Our contributions together helps GlobalVox evolve gloriously in leaps and bounds. Here the belief is not about replacing the workforce but growing it and expanding it. So, let’s continue to stay strong, contribute generously not just in one’s work life but invest in one’s personal dreams and passions and strongly support one another in achieving them as one GV family.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!
